Dmitry Medvedev sent his condolences to Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand Yingluck Shinawatra following the massive human victims and widespread destruction caused by flooding.
The message reads, in part:
“It was with great sadness and empathy that I learned of the extreme flooding in your nation, which has taken many lives and caused widespread destruction.
Please pass on my sincere condolences to the relatives and friends of the victims, as well as my words of sympathy and support to all who have suffered as a result of this natural disaster.”
