The President of Russia highly praised Tajikistan’s progress in economic and social development as well as its important and constructive role in regional and international affairs.

Vladimir Putin was satisfied to note the high level of bilateral relations and the substantive political dialogue established between Russia and Tajikistan as well as mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields and the good results of coordinated efforts within the  Background information Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) CIS, the  Background information Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO) CSTO, the  Background information Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) SCO, the UN and the  Background information Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) OSCE.

The President of Russia expressed his confidence in the further promotion of the alliance and strategic partnership between Russia and Tajikistan in the interests of the two nations in order to provide stability and security in Central Asia.
