Dmitry Medvedev sent his greetings to participants of the third Russia-Turkmenistan Economic Forum A New Level of Interregional Cooperation as the Guarantee for a New Quality of Life for the Peoples of Russia and Turkmenistan.
The message reads, in part:
“Our peoples share close bonds of friendship, trust, and good-neighbourliness. It is upon this solid foundation that Russia and Turkmenistan are working steadily to build a strategic partnership and pursue useful dialogue on relevant international and regional issues.
Today, we have all the conditions we need to continue the steady and dynamic development of our multifaceted trade, economic, and humanitarian ties, and carry out large-scale high-technology projects. Our interregional ties, which are growing stronger every year, make a big contribution to expanding contacts between our peoples and encouraging initiatives in the SME sector.
I am sure that your forum’s proposals and recommendations will help to further develop mutually advantageous cooperation between Russia and Turkmenistan for the good of both peoples.”
