Vladimir Putin congratulated Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the 25th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence.
In his congratulatory message, the President of Russia praised Turkmenistan’s achievements in tackling pressing socioeconomic issues.
The Russian leader also noted the important contribution that neutral Turkmenistan makes to stability and security in Central Asia.
Vladimir Putin emphasised the importance of the Russia-Turkmenistan strategic partnership and expressed confidence in further bilateral cooperation in various areas and constructive interaction in regional and international affairs.
