Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the Turkish side’s initiative.
The two leaders had a friendly discussion on various aspects of bilateral cooperation, progress in implementing important decisions of the fifth session of the High-Level Russian-Turkish Cooperation Council (December 1, 2014 in Ankara) with a focus on joint projects in energy, including Turkish Stream.
The heads of state also exchanged views on current international and regional issues, as well as the schedule for upcoming contacts at the highest level.
