Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The discussion focused on key aspects of the Syrian settlement in light of the upcoming fifth International Meeting on Syria in Astana, convened under the aegis of Russia, Turkey and Iran in the beginning of July.
The presidents agreed to maintain further contact in the near future.
