Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Vladimir Putin congratulated the Turkish leader on the success of his party, the Party of Justice and Development, in the municipal elections in Turkey on March 31.
The two leaders also discussed bilateral issues in the context of preparations for the eighth meeting of the High-Level Russian-Turkish Cooperation Council scheduled for April 8 in Moscow.
