Vladimir Putin attended the consecration of a bell at St Vladimir’s Cathedral in Chersonesus Tavrichesky on the day of memory of Holy Prince Vladimir, who baptised Rus in 988.
Together with President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, Mr Putin visited the cathedral built at the site where Prince Vladimir is said to have been baptised.
