Vladimir Putin signed Executive Order On Amendments to Presidential Executive Order No. 187 of April 29, 2019 On Certain Categories of Foreign Citizens and Stateless Persons Entitled to a Fast-Track Procedure when Applying for Russian Citizenship.
According to the Executive Order, the right to a fast-track procedure when applying for Russian citizenship is granted to residents of the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics as well as those who previously resided in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions of Ukraine.
