During the visit Dmitry Medvedev will take part in the 19th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Leaders' Summit.
During the summit, Russia will take over the rotating presidency in the association from the United States. The next summit will take place in the autumn of 2012 in Russky Island, Vladivostok.
Dmitry Medvedev will also take part in an informal meeting with representatives of Asia-Pacific business communities and hold several bilateral meetings, including with presidents of the United States, Indonesia, Vietnam and Peru, and prime ministers of Malaysia, Japan and Australia.
