The programme of Mr Medvedev’s visit to the United States includes events in San Francisco, where the President of Russia will visit Silicon Valley, and Washington, where he will have talks at the highest level and other meetings.
During the visit special priority will be given to issues related to the expansion of Russian-American cooperation in the innovation and high-tech sectors.
The visit is taking place at the invitation of President of the United States of America Barack Obama.
