Dmitry Medvedev sent a telegram to Islam Karimov expressing his condolences following an earthquake in Uzbekistan.
The message reads, in part:
“Please accept my sincere condolences with regard to the powerful earthquake in Uzbekistan which claimed human lives.
Please pass on my words of sympathy to the families and friends of the victims and my wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured.”
