Vladimir Putin has arrived on a two-day visit to Tashkent to take part in the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Council of Heads of State, which this year marks the SCO’s anniversary.
The summit participants are expected to discuss the organisation’s future development, the accession of new members, bolstering the SCO’s role as an influential international organisation, and current global and regional issues.
Mr Putin will also hold several bilateral meetings with foreign leaders.
