On October 18–19, Vladimir Putin will pay a state visit to Uzbekistan at the invitation of the Republic’s President, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
During the talks, the heads of state will discuss the current state and prospects for further developing the Russian-Uzbekistani strategic partnership and alliance and exchange views on current regional and international issues.
A package of intergovernmental, inter-agency and commercial documents are to be signed following the meeting.
Vladimir Putin and Shavkat Mirziyoyev will also attend the plenary session of the first Russia-Uzbekistan Interregional Cooperation Forum, Agriculture as a Priority for the Development of Russian-Uzbekistani Relations.
Besides, the Presidents will take part via video linkup in a groundbreaking ceremony for a Russian-designed nuclear power station in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
