Vladimir Putin sent greetings to President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the successful constitutional referendum.
The message reads, in part:
“The results of the nationwide vote testify to the wide support for the course you are pursuing to strengthen government institutions, protect citizens’ rights and ensure the country’s stable socioeconomic development.
We hope that the constitutional reform in Uzbekistan will facilitate further improvement of the strategic partnership and allied relations between our countries.”
