Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The leaders expressed satisfaction with the positive momentum in bilateral cooperation, which is actively progressing in all areas. They highlighted significant trade growth, the successful implementation of major joint projects in energy and industrial cooperation, and productive contacts between the regions.
The sides reaffirmed their mutual interest in further strengthening the comprehensive Russian-Uzbek strategic partnership and alliance, as well as stepping up interaction between the governments, relevant ministries, and agencies of the two countries.
