The Federal Law ratifies the Protocol to Amend the Agreement between the Government of the Russian
Federation and the Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela on a State
Loan to the Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela of December 8,
2011, which was signed in Moscow and Caracas on September 3, 2014.
The protocol envisages the extension of a state loan to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, which will make it possible to create legal grounds for Venezuela’s full compliance with its international commitments to fund the supplies of Russian military goods to that country, as stated in the Agreement Between the Russian Federation and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela on Cooperation in the Implementation of Joint Strategic Projects of December 10, 2009.
