Dmitry Medvedev met with President of Venezuela Hugo Chavez at the President of Russia’s residence in Gorki.
In their informal talks, Dmitry Medvedev and Hugo Chavez discussed current issues in Russian-Venezuelan relations.
Other participants in the meeting from the Russian side included Presidential Aide Sergei Prikhodko, Deputy Prime Minister Igor Sechin and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
Hugo Chavez is in Moscow on an official visit. Tomorrow, Russian-Venezuelan talks will be held at the highest level in the Kremlin with participation by both nations’ delegations.
