Vladimir Putin sent his greetings to General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong on the 78th anniversary of Vietnam's declaration of independence.
The message reads, in part:
“Relations between our states are developing dynamically in the spirit of comprehensive strategic partnership. We have established constructive bilateral cooperation in various areas and coordinate efforts to resolve topical issues on the regional and international agenda.
I am confident that the further strengthening of the multifaceted Russian-Vietnamese ties is in the fundamental interests of our friendly nations.”
