Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Ratification of the Agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Abkhazia on Alliance and Strategic Partnership.
The Agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Abkhazia on Alliance and Strategic Partnership was signed in Sochi on November 24, 2014.
The agreement sets forth the foundation of interstate relations between Russia and Abkhazia in the social, economic and humanitarian areas, as well as in defence and security. The subject of the agreement is the fundamental rights and freedoms of an individual and a citizen.
