Vladimir Putin sent a message to congratulate President of the Republic of Abkhazia Raul Khadjimba on his re-election as the head of state.
“I expect that your activity as president will further promote the strengthening of Russian-Abkhaz relations based on the principles of alliance and strategic partnership,” the Russian President wrote in the message.
Vladimir Putin emphasised that Russia will continue to render all-round assistance to friendly Abkhazia in solving socioeconomic development tasks and ensuring national security.
