Dmitry Medvedev signed Federal Law On Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Abkhazia on Encouragement and Reciprocal Protection of Investments.
The Agreement is aimed at creating international legal conditions and guarantees for business and investment activities of the parties to the Agreement and will promote further development of investment, trade and economic cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Abkhazia.
The Agreement was signed in Sukhum, Abkhazia on October 9, 2009.
