The President signed Federal Law On Ratifying the Treaty on Alliance and Integration between the Russian Federation and the Republic of South Ossetia.
The Treaty was signed in Moscow on March 18, 2015.
The Treaty establishes the foundations for interstate relations between the Russian Federation and the Republic of South Ossetia. The Treaty addresses the basic rights and freedoms of individuals and citizens. It states the parties’ intention to develop cooperation in the social, economic and humanitarian spheres, as well as in defence and security.
