Vladimir Putin has signed the Federal Law On Ratifying the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of South Ossetia on Cooperation in Military Courier-Postal Communications.
The agreement was signed in Moscow on March 31, 2017.
The agreement is designed to create an international legal basis for cooperation between Russia and South Ossetia in military courier-postal communications in order to ensure the protection of military correspondence during its delivery to bases of Russian military units located in the Republic of South Ossetia.
