Vladimir Putin expressed his condolences to President of the Republic of Yemen Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi following a terrorist attack in Yemen’s capital Sana’a that claimed many lives.
The telegram reads, in part:
“I am truly outraged by the terrorist attack in Sana’a, unprecedented in its audacity and cruelty, a tragedy that claimed many lives.
I am certain that despite the extremists’ attempts to hamper the overall political process underway in Yemen, the active implementation of comprehensive democratic and socio-economic reforms will continue, and the organisers and perpetrators of the crime will be justly punished.
I strongly condemn this inhumane act and ask you to pass on my sincere condolences to the victims’ families and friends and my words of support and best wishes for a speedy recovery to all those injured.”
