“The results of the election demonstrate your high level of political prestige and the broad support for your policies to address current socioeconomic issues and strengthen your nation’s positions in the global arena.
I am pleased to note the friendly nature of the relations between our nations. I am confident that the government you form will continue working to broaden constructive Russian-South African cooperation and partnership in international affairs.
I appreciate the invitation to your inauguration ceremony. Following my instructions, the Russian delegation will be headed by Speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Sergei Naryshkin.”
