Vladimir Putin sent greetings to President of the Republic of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa on the occasion of Freedom Day, the national holiday.
The message reads, in part:
“Relations between our countries are at a high level. Constructive bilateral dialogue and diverse fruitful cooperation continue to develop. Moscow and Pretoria are coordinating their efforts within the UN, BRICS, G20 and other multilateral organisations.
I am confident that we will further expand the entire range of mutually beneficial Russian-South African ties through joint efforts. This, doubtless, meets the interests of our friendly nations and is in line with strengthening security and stability at regional and international levels.”
