The President of Russia, along with other participants in the APEC summit, took part in the APEC Business Advisory Council’s meeting.
This was the leaders’ first general meeting at this summit. By tradition, APEC forum meetings take place behind closed doors.
The APEC Business Advisory Council is the main platform for dialogue between governments and business in APEC. The Council’s membership is composed of three business leaders from each country. Russia is represented on the Council by Basic Element Chairman of Supervisory Board Oleg Deripaska, Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) CEO Kirill Dmitriyev, and Chairman of the Management Board and President of VTB Bank Andrei Kostin.
