Vladimir Putin took part in the meeting of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Economic Leaders with APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) members.
The APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) was established in 1995 to intensify the dialogue between the states and business of the Asia Pacific region. The Council advises APEC officials on various areas of cooperation and makes recommendations on business sector concerns.
ABAC comprises up to three major business representatives from each APEC economy. Following Presidential instructions, the Russian Federation is represented in the ABAC by Oleg Deripaska, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Basic Element, Kirill Dmitriev, CEO of Russian Direct Investment Fund and Andrei Kostin, Head of VTB Bank.
