Dmitry Medvedev signed Federal Law On Roadworthiness Inspections for Vehicles and on Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation.
The law sets out the procedures and periodicity of roadworthiness inspections for vehicles, and the procedures for accrediting legal entities or individual entrepreneurs applying to provide roadworthiness inspection services.
A professional association of insurers established in accordance with the Federal Law On Compulsory Civil Liability of Vehicle Owners will be responsible for accrediting roadworthiness inspection service providers and supervising their activities.
