Dmitry Medvedev signed Federal Law On Amendments to the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation and Article 11 of the Federal Law On State Control over International Road Haulage and Liability for Violating Relevant Regulations.
The amendments are related to sanctions for violating international road haulage regulations and stipulate administrative prosecution of a foreign carrier if offences are committed by a vehicle belonging to the carrier not only when crossing the state border of the Russian Federation, but also in the Russian Federation.
