Vladimir Putin congratulated workers and veterans of motor and public passenger transport on their professional holiday.
The President’s message reads, in part:
”Today representatives of one of the most important and sought after professions celebrate their professional festival. The entire motor transport complex is rightly considered a strategically important part of the national economy. It plays an important role in strengthening the industrial and technological potential of the country and in developing interregional and international ties. And, of course, people’s quality of life of depends on its stable and uninterrupted functioning.“
The Motor Transport Worker Day is marked in Russia on the last Sunday of October.
