Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Amendments to Federal Law On State Control over International Transport by Road and on Liability for Violating Procedures for Such Operations.
The Federal Law stipulates the terms and conditions for allowing Russian carriers to conduct international transport by road, as well as their duties and liability.
At the same time, the Russian Ministry of Transport is authorised to compile and maintain a register of Russian carriers permitted to conduct international transport by road.
Additionally, the provisions of the Federal Law concern state control (oversight) of international passenger transport and also regulate the recovery of fines for administrative violations involving vehicles owned by foreign carriers, committed in the Russian Federation.
