Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Amendments to Articles 2 and 6 of the Federal Law On State Control over International Car Transfers and Liability for Violating the Respective Procedure and the Federal Law On Organising Regular Passenger and Luggage Carriage by Car and City Ground-Based Electric Transport in the Russian Federation and On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation.
The Federal Law regulates relations on organising regular transportation of passengers and luggage by car on international transport routes, including relations pertaining to the establishment, change or cancellation of such routes, permission to carry out such transportation by Russian or foreign carriers, and the use of transport infrastructure facilities for that purpose, as well as relations related to organising control over the implementation of regular international passenger transportation by road.
