Dmitry Medvedev signed Federal Law On Ratification of Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of Macao on Air Services.
The Federal Law ratifies the agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of Macao, which was signed in Macao on January 21, 1999 and serves as the foundation for the development of civil aviation in both Contracting Parties.
The agreement is designed to establish international air services between and outside Russia and Macao. It defines the functions and rights of Contracting Parties' airlines, and provides for resolving technical and financial issues pertaining to aircraft flights and passenger, cargo and mail transportation by the designated carriers.
