Dmitry Medvedev signed Federal Law On Ratification of Protocol on Amendments to the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the People’s Republic of China on Cooperation in the Petrol Sector of April 21, 2009.
The Protocol was signed in Beijing on September 27, 2010.
The Protocol specifies procedures for the transfer of goods, materials, and equipment over the Russian-Chinese state border during the implementation and exclusively for the purpose of building an underwater passage for the Skovorodino-Mohe pipeline under the Amur river. The protocol also establishes simplified access procedures at the Russian-Chinese border for personnel involved with the construction, repair and operation of the underwater passage.
