The Agreement was signed on December 12, 2008, in Moscow, and sets forth the functions of the Secretariat as a working body in the Customs Union Commission.
The Secretariat is responsible for organising the work of the Interstate Council of the Eurasian Economic Community (the supreme body of the Customs Union), the Customs Union Commission, and for their information and technical support.
