Dmitry Medvedev signed Federal Law On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation in Light of Implementation by the Russian Federation of International Agreements on Readmission.
The law is aimed at ensuring the implementation of the Russian Federation’s international agreements on readmission.
The amendments concern procedures for exiting from and entering into the Russian Federation by persons who come under readmission procedures. Amendments have been made to the federal laws On Acts of Civil Status, On the Legal Status of Foreign Nationals in the Russian Federation, and On Migration Registration of Foreign Nationals and Stateless Persons in the Russian Federation, as well to the Code of Administrative Offences.
