Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Amendments to Federal Law On the Legal Status of Foreign Citizens in the Russian Federation and Article 18.9 and 28.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation.
The law provides social guarantees to migrant workers and imposes administrative responsibility of the inviting party for failing to provide material support, healthcare and housing to the visiting foreign citizen or stateless person during his or her stay in Russia.
