Chief of the Presidential Directorate for Protection of Citizens’ Constitutional Rights Tatyana Lokatkina chaired a meeting of the working group on the implementation of the State Migration Policy Concept for 2019 – 2025.
During the meeting, the members of the working group heard information on the main approaches to regulating migration, which are part of the draft federal law on the terms of entry (exit) and stay in the Russian Federation for foreign citizens and stateless persons. They also approved a draft strategy for comprehensive information support for the public administration of migration.
The said drafts were prepared by the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media.
In addition, the working group members reviewed ways of improving laws regulating the status of internally displaced persons and foreign professionals.
