Chief of the Presidential Directorate for Protection of Citizens’ Constitutional Rights Tatyana Lokatkina chaired a meeting of the working group on the implementation of the State Migration Policy Concept of the Russian Federation for 2019–2025.
Members of the working group were briefed on developing the basic technical solutions necessary to implement provisions of the draft regulatory legal act on migration. The drafting of this legal act is stipulated in the 2020–2022 action plan for the implementation of the State Migration Policy Concept of the Russian Federation for 2019–2025.
In addition, the main tasks that need to be resolved in finalising the specified legal act, while further ensuring the implementation of its provisions and organising the further performance of the working group under the President's instructions of March 6, 2020, were outlined.
Also, the meeting participants were given information from the Ministry of the Interior regarding the implementation of Federal Law No. 274-FZ of July 1, 2021, which provides for expanding the categories of foreign citizens subject to fingerprint registration, as well as the issuance of documents with electronic data carriers.
