Vladimir Putin signed the Federal Law On Amendments to the Federal Law On General Principles of Local Self-Governance in the Russian Federation and Article 44 of the Federal Law On General Principles of Public Administration in the Constituent Entities of the Russian Federation.
This Federal Law regulates the activity of local government bodies concerning international ties and foreign trade.
The Federal Law establishes the powers of a federal executive body authorised to develop and implement the state policy and legal regulation related to international links and foreign economic activity of local self-government bodies; the authority of regional and local self-government bodies with respect to international links and foreign economic activity.
