Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Ratification of the Agreement between the Russian Federation and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on the Transfer of Individuals Sentenced to Prison Terms.
The Agreement was signed in Hanoi on November 12, 2013.
The purpose of the agreement is to create an international legal framework for Russian-Vietnamese cooperation in the transfer of sentenced persons to the state whose citizens they are, to serve their prison terms there. The Agreement is intended to help protect the rights and legal interests of Russian citizens.
