Vladimir Putin underscored the importance of passing on to the younger generation the undistorted truth about what happened during the Great Patriotic War, and stressed that it is the duty of today’s generations to prevent tragic events of the past from ever happening again.
The President also expressed confidence that the traditions of brotherly friendship and mutual assistance forged during the years of great hardship will continue to serve as a solid foundation for developing relations among our countries.
