Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Anton Vaino held a meeting of the Organising Committee for Celebrations of the 75th Anniversary of Victory in the 1941–1945 Great Patriotic War.
The members of the Organising Committee reviewed the interim results of their work at the meeting. In part, they discussed organisational issues on implementing the plan for the main events on the preparations and holding of the celebrations for the 75th Anniversary of Victory in the 1941–1945 Great Patriotic War.
As part of the social support for the veterans of the Great Patriotic War they paid special attention to the funding of lump sum payments on the victory anniversary and the provision of housing.
In addition, the participants discussed issues concerning invitations to veterans from other regions and abroad to the Victory Parade on Red Square, as well as participation of foreign delegations in the festivities.
The participants discussed the victory parades and cultural events in other Russian cities separately.
