Vladimir Putin signed the Federal Law On Amending Articles 1 and 11 of the Federal Law On Days of Military Glory and Commemorative Dates in Russia.
The Federal Law establishes a new date to commemorate Russian military glory: September 3 is now the day marking the end of World War II (1945).
