Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the finalists of the Victory Ambassadors national contest.
The message reads, in part:
“Today, Moscow welcomes the most active, passionate and energetic young men and women from different regions of Russia who are worthy representatives of the Victory Volunteers public movement. You have dedicated yourselves to a great and very necessary cause: you are helping to restore monuments to the fallen heroes and to improve military graves; you are implementing many interesting educational and patriotic projects; you are supporting veterans who especially need to be cared for and given attention during this difficult time. This highly relevant and truly selfless activity deserves the most profound appreciation.
I am quite certain that you will have a rewarding time here in Moscow, will make a significant contribution to the preparations for the May 9 celebrations, and your movement will continue to expand, and will bring together new like-minded people both in Russia and abroad.”
