Vladimir Putin laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Alexander Garden following the Victory Parade on Red Square.
The ceremony concluded with the national anthem and a march by the Guard of Honour.
The President also laid flowers at the obelisks of the hero-cities and the commemorative sign in honour of the cities conferred with the honorary title of the City of Military Glory.
