The President signed the Federal Law On St George Ribbon and Amending Several Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation.
The Federal Law establishes the status of the St George ribbon as a symbol of Russian military glory and introduces corresponding changes to the federal laws On Perpetuating the Victory of the Soviet People in the 1941–1945 Great Patriotic War and On Days of Military Glory and Commemorative Dates in Russia, to the extent that it concerns the use of the St George ribbon in military parades, military glory events and commemorative date celebrations.
