The main issue on the agenda will be preparations for celebrating the 80^th anniversary of Victory in the 1941–1945 Great Patriotic War.

In addition, the discussion will focus on ways to perpetuate the memory of those who died defending the Fatherland, conferring the honorary title of City of Labour Valour, reviewing the progress of state programmes to support combat veterans, and preserving the historical memory of the Great Patriotic War.

The Russian Pobeda (Victory) Organising Committee includes representatives of the Presidential Executive Office, the Government, the Federation Council, the State Duma, federal executive bodies, as well as a number of public organisations.
